Now that the members of Northwestern University’s women’s soccer team have become poster children for online indiscretion, expect to see more stories like this one: The Associated Press is reporting that Elon University has disciplined its baseball team after photos of a hazing incident made their way onto the Web.
Campus officials discovered the pictures in November, and Elon’s baseball coach ordered his players to remove the images shortly thereafter. But like the photos that sunk Northwestern’s season, the Elon initiation images found a second life on Bad Jocks, a Web site that has turned trawling for sports-team hazing pictures into a cottage industry.
