Antisocial Networking

April 18, 2005, 1:55 pm

Three students at the University of Mississippi have learned the hard way that they can’t say whatever they want online—even on Thefacebook, the popular Internet social network. The students used the Web site to form a group whose name suggested, not very subtly, that they wanted to have sex with a professor at the university. Shortly thereafter, the campus police ordered the students to shut the group down, and the university’s judicial council has announced that it will discipline them. (The Daily Mississippian)
