An Experiment in Open-Source News

April 22, 2005, 1:13 pm

Wikis—group Web pages that can be edited by anyone who reads them—are gaining in popularity with online encyclopedia-keepers and open-source advocates. But the jury’s still out on whether the Web sites are cut out for serious journalism.
