A Stiff Penalty For Student Piracy

Perhaps college students named in the music industry’s antipiracy lawsuits have gotten off easy: A student at the University of Arizona has been sentenced to three months of jail time for uploading copyrighted songs and movies. The 18-year-old student was also fined $5,400 and told he will have to take a course on copyright at his university.
