Just before Steve Jobs, Apple Computer’s CEO, delivered the commencement speech at Stanford University on Sunday, an airplane flew overhead pulling a banner that read: "Steve, don’t be a mini player—recycle all e-waste." The message was the work of the Computer TakeBack Campaign, an environmental group that is calling on Apple and other computer makers to step up efforts to recycle old parts. Mr. Jobs, meanwhile, told graduates about the benefits of dropping out of college, as he did after eight months at Reed College. (The Associated Press)
