Back in March we featured a campy promotional video from the University of Bergen, in Norway. Today the same institution brings us a playful tale plagiarism in an homage to Dickens:

Sarah Wachter, who will get her “Em. Ell. Eye. Ess.” this week from the University of Washington’s Information School, organized a librarian remix of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” (lyrics available on Ms. Wachter’s blog).

We’ll admit it: We have a thing for robots here at Tweed. Boston Dynamics’ Petman caught our eye a few months back, and then came video of the Big Dog a month later. Last week someone sent us video of a robot named Mabel walking in circles in a laboratory at the University of Michigan until her creators trip her up and cause her to break a leg. Is it poignant or comical? Robots don’t have feelings, right?
