John Mazzuto, a Yale alumnus who donated more than $1.7-million to the college’s baseball program, has been arrested and is facing grand-larceny charges. Mr. Mazzuto’s former company, Industrial Enterprise of America, had asked Yale to return his gift, asserting that Mr. Mazzuto had no right to shares of stock he donated. Yale declined to return the gift while Mr. Mazzuto was under investigation.
