The University of Wyoming has ended its legal battle to keep secret the names of the finalists in its search for a new president, the Associated Press reported. The university’s trustees will release the names in the next couple of days, after receiving them from a search committee. The committee was charged with recommending at least five finalists, but the list will be shorter because some candidates dropped out after the trustees no longer could guarantee that the search would remain secret, the university said in a news release.
