U. of Illinois Faces Up to $250,000 in Bills for Ex-President’s Consultants

Michael J. Hogan, who resigned last month as president of the University of Illinois, employed consultants costing as much as $250,000 as his presidency crumbled, the Chicago Tribune reported today. The consultants, including an executive coach who charged $4,000 for two sessions, were enlisted to help Mr. Hogan navigate a series of crises that led to his resignation in March. They also included lawyers and crisis-communications experts.
