The University of Central Missouri’s governing board has opted not to extend the contract of Aaron M. Podolefsky, the university’s president, according to news reports. The board gave no reason for the decision. Mr. Podolefsky, who was recently the subject of a supportive petition from faculty members, will step down on June 30, 2010.
