Keith Tribble, the University of Central Florida’s athletic director, resigned Wednesday following the university’s receipt of an NCAA report alleging recruiting violations in the institution’s football and men’s basketball programs. An assistant football coach, David Kelly, also resigned, and the university suspended its head men’s basketball coach, Donnie Jones, for three conference games. Al Harms, a university vice president, will serve as interim athletic director.
