The board of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators plans to begin the search for a permanent president and chief executive to replace Philip R. Day Jr., who resigned after being charged with misusing public funds and making illegal campaign contributions in his former position as chancellor of the City College of San Francisco. The group expects to have a new president in time for its annual conference next July.
