Shootings at Party Leave One Youngstown State U. Student Dead and Others Wounded

February 6, 2011, 3:45 pm

A student at Youngstown State University was killed and 11 other people, including six Youngstown State students, were wounded when gunfire erupted during a party at a residence near the campus early Sunday, The Vindicator, a local newspaper, reported. Many of the students who were shot were members of a university-sanctioned fraternity who lived in a private house off the campus, university police officials said. There was no threat to the campus, they said, but campus patrols were being stepped up as a precaution. Two unidentified men were arrested later Sunday on charges of murder and felonious assault.

Willismg, this is not the Columbine generation, rather the Fifty Cent generation that has brought its wannabe mobster mentality to places like YS. Perhaps the admissions counselor who interviewed these outstanding candidates failed to notice their red bandannas, tatooed knuckles, and gold grilles.

Yes, you’re correct, Quicksilver. The Columbine generation went to places like Virginia Tech.
