Rules Easing Unionization at Private Colleges Get Final Approval

The National Labor Relations Board has voted, 2 to 1, to give final approval to new union-election rules that will make it easier for private-college employees to form collective-bargaining units. The final rules appear in today’s Federal Register. The New York Times reports, however, that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce plans to file a lawsuit to try to block the changes from taking effect.
