A professor of developmental psychology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities has been awarded the 2012 Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize for his research on the consequences of child maltreatment and neglect. The professor, Dante Cicchetti, will receive an award worth one million Swiss francs, or about $1-million. His award will be presented in December at the University of Zurich.
