Harvard University’s psychology department has barred Marc Hauser from teaching next year in the wake of a faculty investigation that found him “solely responsible” for eight instances of scientific misconduct, The Boston Globe reports. Mr. Hauser, a prominent evolutionary psychologist, acknowledged last year that he had made “significant mistakes” in his research, but asked fellow scientists not to jump to conclusions while a federal investigation is still under way. He has been on leave from Harvard this year; his status next year is still being worked out, the Globe said.
