Dinesh D’Souza, the conservative provocateur who has served as president of the King’s College since 2010, resigned on Thursday in the face of questions about his relationship with a woman who is not his wife. The Daily Beast reported that the Christian college’s Board of Trustees accepted Mr. D’Souza’s resignation after a long meeting to decide his fate. Before he resigned, Mr. D’Souza denied the charges of infidelity in an interview with Christianity Today, calling an article in the Christian newsmagazine World that first aired the allegations a vendetta against him. Andy Mills, chairman of the college’s board, will serve as interim president.
