Penn State Vice President to Become Under Secretary for Science at the Smithsonian

The Smithsonian Institution has named Eva J. Pell, who is now senior vice president for research and dean of the graduate school at Pennsylvania State University, to become its under secretary for science. Her new position begins in January.
