The Ohio Supreme Court ruled late last month that Bluffton University was liable for a 2007 bus crash in Georgia that killed five baseball players who were part of a team traveling to a tournament. The decision overturned a state appeal’s court ruling and said that the university’s insurance policy must compensate victims because Bluffton had hired and given permission to the bus company to transport the students.
