Oberlin Conservatory of Music Receives National Medal of Arts

The Oberlin Conservatory of Music was honored as a recipient of the 2009 National Medal of Arts at a White House ceremony today. The conservatory is a division of Oberlin College, in Ohio. President Obama presented the awards, the nation’s highest honor for artists and patrons of the arts, to two organizations and 10 individuals.
