A 65-year-old New York man is facing charges in connection with threatening e-mails that were sent to four professors at the University Pittsburgh, the CBS affiliate KDKA reported. Some of the e-mails referred to the recent rash of bomb threats that have plagued the campus, authorities said, but the suspect, Mark Lee Krangle, of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., has not been charged with making any of those threats. In a brief statement, the university said that campus and local police officers had arrested Mr. Krangle at Pittsburgh International Airport on Wednesday afternoon, and that the investigation of the bomb threats was continuing.
