The British Council has announced it will award 10 grants of up to $75,000 each for multidisciplinary research projects between British, American, and Indian higher-education institutions. The projects should increase the international mobility of doctoral and postdoctoral students in all three countries and develop sustainable links among the institutions. Proposals are due in April. In an earlier report, the British Council called for more three-way collaborations in key countries, like India and China, to build on the complementary strengths of American and British universities.
