Montana State University at Bozeman’s orchestra conductor, Shuichi Komiyama, a tenured professor, has resigned, according to The Bozeman Daily Chronicle, in the wake of a university investigation that concluded he had engaged in a sexual relationship with a female student that violated gender-bias and sex-harassment policies. Mr. Komiyama, who had denied the allegations, declined to comment to the newspaper about his resignation.
