Congratulations and good luck to them!

This is a portion of educators that had been dormant for a long time despite evidence that some of them have been working in that capacity for many years without proper representation or benefits.

This is a legitimate question, not a pithy rhetorical… why do colleges jockey for position on rating systems in the Princeton Review and US News, but are highly critical of sustainability rankings? Are there specifics of the rating system that are particularly flawed? Or is it a lack of commitment to sustainability? Something else?

    >>> College administrators had long complained about the report card

In other words, colleges don’t want to actually have to live up to all their high-flying rhetoric about sustainability because it costs money that could otherwise be spent on gilding their pension fund, etc.

Pointing fingers and fabricating impossible standards for *other* people is so much easier.

    It just wasn’t sustainable.
