Los Angeles Community College District’s Chief to Step Down

Daniel LaVista announced on Tuesday that he would resign this summer after having served three years as chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District, the Los Angeles Times reported. Mr. LaVista announced his decision in a districtwide e-mail that said he planned to pursue “other opportunities that combine my professional and family interests.”
