A state judge has approved a settlement agreement between the University of Idaho Foundation and a development company that was involved in a $136-million campus-development project that derailed in 2002, the Associated Press reported. The settlement, in which each side agreed to drop claims against the other for damages, resolves the final piece of a complicated legal dispute over the failed project. A former university president resigned in the fallout from the dispute, as did a former chief financial officer who later pleaded guilty to charges of financial mismanagement.
