Wisconsin Technical Colleges’ Faculty Pay Surpasses University System’s

“Overages”—extra pay for taking on additional duties—pushed average compensation for technical-college instructors to $90,000, while pay for professors in the state-university system averaged $86,000.

Overages were the determining factor in that comparison, as they averaged $12,000 per technical-college instructor, but only $1,400 per UW professor.
