The university on Tuesday placed Ross M. Parmley on leave over allegations surrounding his relationship with an Oklahoma man who is accused of running an illegal gambling enterprise. Mr. Parmley has not been charged with a crime. A court document unsealed last week described Mr. Parmley as an “admitted gambler.”
