Top Harvard Athlete to Miss Season Over Cheating Scandal

A fellow co-captain on the men’s basketball team, Brandyn Curry, was also implicated in the scandal but has not yet decided whether to leave college.

Harvard men’s basketball co-captain Kyle Casey has chosen to withdraw from Harvard because of disciplinary action he could face for involvement in the Government 1310 cheating scandal, Sports Illustrated reported early Tuesday morning. By withdrawing, Casey will likely miss the 2012-13 basketball season.
