Assistant Coach Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Penn State

Mike McQueary, a primary witness in the prosecution of Jerry Sandusky, filed a whistle-blower suit against the university. He is seeking millions in damages.

McQueary said the university’s treatment of him since Nov. 5, 2011, caused him “much distress, anxiety and embarrassment.” The suit also said he’s been “labeled and branded as being part of a cover-up” and that has ruined his future in coaching football.
