Even though she pleaded guilty in September to murder in the shooting deaths of three colleagues at the University of Alabama at Huntsville, and was sentenced to life in prison, the former professor wants to appeal. The Associated Press reports that her lawyers want to leave the case, and that Ms. Bishop has requested a new, taxpayer-financed legal counsel.
