Three Chinese universities have vowed to uphold Communist ideals on their campuses, they wrote in a party newspaper on Sunday. Peking University, Fudan University, and Sun Yat-sen University published statements that, among other things, focused on how to better promote socialism among students in an online environment. For instance, Peking University has a 24-hour system set up to monitor online expression and eliminate “negative speech.”
