A scorching article in the August issue of Vanity Fair details how Harvard landed in the worst financial crisis in its nearly 400-year history, the result of what the author calls a “lethal mix of uncurbed expansion, colossal debt, arrogance, and mismanagement” that nowadays has shifted to a world-class blame game.
