On the fourth anniversary of a Danish newspaper’s publication of controversial cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education has posted an interview with the newspaper’s editor. A transcript of the interview with Flemming Rose, editor of Jyllands-Posten, appears on FIRE’s Web site.

Exactly why is it necessary to refer to muhammad as “the prophet”? He was a genocidal sociopath, pedofile, and rapist. This is hardly prophet material.

I certainly agree with you, Mart, but we can at least spell his name with a capital M. There’s no reason to be discourteous.
