Faculty at U. of Wisconsin-Stout Votes to Unionize

The faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Stout voted 196 to 31 today in favor of being represented by a union that has collective-bargaining rights, The Capital Times reported. In a state where legislation backed by the governor would end such rights, the Stout campus became the fourth in the Wisconsin system to form a union since 2009. The others are La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Superior.
