One day after a Harvard University stem-cell-research team retracted a paper in the journal Nature, the journal Blood is reporting concerns about another paper from the same group. Nature reported on Wednesday the retraction of a January article concerning the aging of blood stem cells from the laboratory of Amy J. Wagers, an associate professor at Harvard Medical School. Blood said on Thursday that its notice involved a 2008 paper from the Wagers lab concerning stem cells that give rise to blood cells.
