A committee at Brandeis University is recommending that it keep its Rose Art Museum open to the public, according to The Boston Globe, which reviewed a preliminary copy of the committee’s report. The committee does not take a stand on whether Brandeis should sell art in the museum to cover a financial shortfall, a proposal that set off a firestorm of criticism from donors and museum directors this year.
