The University of South Carolina at Beaufort evacuated its two campuses and canceled classes for the rest of the day after an anonymous caller made a bomb threat early this afternoon. According to a statement on the university’s Web site, the caller did not specify which campus was threatened. After officers with bomb-sniffing dogs searched all buildings, students were allowed to return. Classes are scheduled to resume on Tuesday.
