92% of Campuses Report New Flu Cases

A total of 6,326 new suspected cases of flu were reported last week to the American College Health Association. No deaths were reported. Nine students were hospitalized at the 273 colleges that reported their findings for the week ending October 2. Cases were reported by 92 percent of the colleges, up from 91 percent the previous week. The campuses account for more than 3.3 million students.
