2 Texas Tech Regents Say They Were Pressured to Resign After Publicly Supporting Governor’s Opponent

Two former regents for the Texas Tech University System told the Austin-American Statesman that they were pressured to resign by allies of Gov. Rick Perry after publicly supporting his political rival, U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison. She is challenging him in the Republican gubernatorial primary next year.
