The titles alone from last week’s posts hint that the semester’s reached that frenzied almost-done point. But that just means better days are ahead, right?
- Natalie stayed positive, by introducing “The Now Habit” a a tool for combating procrastination. I begged for help with “Grading Triage,” and introduced a tool that may help next semester: Rübrick: Browser-Based Assessment.
- Guest author Courtney S. Danforth kicked off a new series on the academic wardrobe, focusing on “Habitude.” Since I can barely dress myself neatly, I wondered about when to give evaluations.
- Julie introduced us to super-smartphones as productivity tools. Nels had the best title of the week: “Disruptive Student Behavior: What’s That Smell?“
- George called on our readers to create ProfHacker mixtapes, and Amy offered ways to use “Google Reader to Streamline Your Reading.”
- In standing posts, Billie Hara offered chicken soup for lunch. There was no weekend reading post this week because I was getting ready for a holiday I’ve only known about in America for about 5 years.
Let’s be safe out there!
