Feeling a little overwhelmed, a little grumpy as the year draws to a close? Well, here’s some positive news. (Granted, it’s mostly self promotion, but perhaps this post will remind you to look back on your own accomplishments this past year and think about ways to slow down a bit in the weeks ahead so that you can recharge.)
It’s been a great first semester here at ProfHacker! As I write this, the site has published 286 posts and generated over 2,353 comments. Our Twitter account has 693 followers. On Facebook, we have 341 “fans.” And our RSS feed has just under 1,200 subscribers.
In short, holy cow!
Well, we’ve decided to slow down our publishing schedule over the next few weeks to allow everyone at ProfHacker HQ time and energy to deal with the busy-ness (both personal and professional) that comes with the end of one semester, the break in between, and the beginning of the next semester.
So instead of our usual 3 posts each day, you should expect 2 posts per day this week, 1 post per day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week, and then we’ll take a break from publishing until after the new year.
Thanks to everyone for helping make this project a success!
