A Tool to Manage Your On-Screen Windows

May 4, 2011, 8:00 am

I’ve recently started using a simple and affordable little Mac application called BetterSnapTool, available for $2 in the App Store. In a nutshell, this application does one thing, and it does it quite well. When you need to resize one of the windows on your computer screen, just drag it to one of the screen corners to make it only one quarter of your entire screen. You can drag it to the top of your screen to make it full size, or you can drag it to the left or right to make it one half of your entire screen. That might not sound like much, but I’ve found this application to be pretty helpful. (Windows users, this all might sound sort of familiar to you.)

Here’s a review on YouTube that demonstrates what this looks like on screen.

How about you? Do you have a favorite strategy or software application to manage the windows on your desktop?
