Western Illinois U. Picks New Provost

Western Illinois University has named Jack Thomas, senior vice provost for academic affairs and professor of English at Middle Tennessee State University, as its next provost and academic vice president, The Macomb Journal reports. He’ll succeed Joe Rallo, who departed in May to lead Angelo State University, in San Angelo, Tex. Read more.
