One Response to Seattle U. Names New Provost
arrive2__net - November 4, 2011 at 5:59 pm
Although the article was published about five years ago its worth noting that today STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degrees are considered much more desirable, and the NY Times proposes that maybe education policy ought to be changed to produce more STEM majors( http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/11/02/college-majors-matter/ ). Also, according to research at Georgetown University, Engineering, Math and Computer majors are among the best paid graduates at the Bachelor degree level ( http://cew.georgetown.edu/whatsitworth/ ).
