Illinois State Picks New Provost

Illinois State University has selected Sheri Noren Everts, interim senior vice chancellor for academic and student affairs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, to become its next provost, effective July 1, the Pantagraph, a daily newspaper in Bloomington, Ill., reports. Everts, who will be ISU’s first female provost, replaces John Presley, who announced a year ago that he would step down this month to return to teaching. Read more.
