Faculty and Staff Raises?

The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents is considering a proposal this week that would raise faculty and staff salaries at the University of Oklahoma’s Norman campus by 3 percent, the Associated Press reports.

If approved, the pay bump would take effect on October 1. A proposal to give OU-Tulsa employees a 3-percent raise is also on the agenda.

Meanwhile, Illinois State University’s president, C. Alvin Bowman Jr., vowed Tuesday during his annual State of the University address to make higher faculty and staff salaries his top priority in the next year, the Peoria Journal Star reports. Read more.
