But Then Again …

University of California at Irvine officials are doing damage control after last week’s controversial decision by the chancellor to retract an offer made to Erwin Chemerinsky, a renowned liberal legal scholar, to be Irvine’s inaugural law-school dean, Katherine Mangan reports today on The Chronicle’s Web site. Efforts are reportedly under way to retract the retraction and reinstate Chemerinsky, Mangan writes. Read more.

Brilliant choice. Massive baby boom will begin dying off very soon. Secure future for next 40 years or so.
