Best Places to Work for Postdocs, and Other Friday Reading

The Scientist has released the results of its annual survey on the best places to work for postdocs, Lila Guterman writes on The Chronicle’s News Blog.
Legislation that would have permitted graduate students and adjunct faculty members at Maryland’s public universities to unionize has died in the Maryland General Assembly and is being withdrawn from the state Senate (see a previous blog item), Audrey Williams June reports on the News Blog.
