Kenneth I. Shine, executive vice chancellor for health affairs at the University of Texas system, will take over as interim chancellor of the 15-campus system when Mark G. Alabama A&M University’s Board of Trustees has officially sacked President Robert R. Jennings over allegations of hiring and pay improprieties, The Birmingham News reports.
Meanwhile, Robert H. Sisk, interim president of Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, will keep his post for now, despite his arrest last week for deleting computer files and petit larceny during his tenure as director of the South Branch Career and Technical Center, Paul Fain writes on The Chronicle’s News Blog.
